How Important it is to Spend Time with your Friends in College

Surrounding yourself with a good group friends is extremely important, especially in college. Friends can help you feel grounded and helps you realize that they're are people out there for you when school gets difficult. I feel that at least once a week everyone should get with their friends and hang out just to realize some stress and have a night without any schoolwork. This can honestly help out with so much without even realizing it.

How to use Social Media as a Tool

Social media can have some very negative effects and has some bad reputations, but that's if you choose to use your social medias in that way. You can use Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, etc. Obviously there are things that are on social media that you cannot avoid, but you can make your explore page or for your page personal to what you want. It's as easy as just looking up in those apps what you want to see. You can look up "healthy recipe ideas for college students?", "how to have a good fitness balance as a college student?", "Workout routines for back and bis", and so many more. The more you like, watch, and click on certain things, eventually the apps will only show you those videos you are interested in.

Incorporating Fitness Into Your Routine as a College Student

As college students sometimes it's hard to find time to go to the gym with school work, clubs and activities, and some students have jobs. You need to make time dedicated to getting some sort of physical activity to fit into your week. You can wake up earlier in the mornings if you have classes later towards the afternoon. Make sure to plan enough time to get up to be able to do your workout and shower before you have to go to any of your classes. There are plenty of workouts you can do that will only take you an 45 minutes to an hour. You can walk/jog on the treadmill or track for about 10-15 minutes to warm up. Then move into a full body workout in the weight room. I have seen so many workout routine ideas on TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. to help motivate you to get into the gym or even just outside. I have found some great ones that go into detail to help you find a good routine that can fit for you and fitting it in your schedule.

King's Island Haunt

This past weekend I went to Kings Island Amusement Park for their "Haunt". Every year throughout the season of fall leading up to Halloween, Kings Island decorates the whole park and basically makes the entire park a haunted house on the weekends. We get to still ride all of the rides, and there are also haunted houses set up in the park that you can go in. I went with my friends and met up with my family. My stepdad lives in Columbus and Kings Island is a little bit outside of Cincinnati. We left Slippery Rock on Friday after classes and headed to Columbus. We got to my stepdad's house and met my brother and my mom there. We all just hung out there on Friday night, played some games and watched movies. The next morning we all got up and got right on the road to head towards Cincinnati. The park itself is huge and has so many different areas, during the day you can see all of the decor and the feel of halloween. The real beauty of it is at night. At 6pm they have a show ...
